Oostende
Last week I went to famous cost of Belgium, Oostende ! 🙂 It is located in west of Belgium and has many things about sea.
After one hour I reached to Oostende from Kortrijk by train. There were many young people in the train and I realized that Oostende is famous city for young people. The weather was sunny but also a little bit windy. Firstly I wanted to wlk towards to ocean. While I was walking, I feel at my own country myself. There were a lot of fish restaurant like Istanbul. The city was not crowded but it seems like so many people could come there in summer. Because, there is a beautiful beach in Oostende. 🙂
After I had walked towards to ocean, I decided to walked centre of Oostende. The streets were so nice and people seems like happy about their life. I saw a burger shop in the street and I ate hamburger. It was not so delicious but anyway I ate it. After that, I saw a church and I visited it. It was typical church. All churches are already similar in Europe. Then, I went to grote markt. There are so many restaurant and coffees in the centre of Oostende. Also, there is long avenue. It was good.
After that, I visited the big church of Oostende. It was really big and old. Maybe it is cathedral. I don’t know. I took so many pictures in front of church. After the visiting of church, I walked to other sideof Oostende and I reached the beautiful park of Oostende. There was a lake and many trees and also swans. I felt relax in there. I always like the parks. It’s really peaceful place.
It was 18 o’clock and it was time to go back. I walked back to train station and I filled my go pass. The Oostende trip was very good and I told myself that I will come here again for swimming!

Antwerp
Yesterday, I went to Antwerp. We got train from Kortrijk and after 1.5 hours have been to Antwerp.
Antwerp is located on the right bank of the river Scheldt, which is linked to the North Sea by the Westerscheldeestuary. The city has one of the largest seaports in Europe. Antwerp’s population is 512.000. It’s the second populous city in Belgium after Brussels.
Firstly, I visited the tourism guide for take informations about sightseeing places. I learnt that all sightseeing places near to Grote Markt and we started to walk to Grote Markt. Between Train station and Grote Markt’s distance is 20 minutes. The weather was cloudy and a little bit cold. While I was walking, I passed the shopping street. There were many famous shops and I also entered to famous chocolate shop, tested their chocolate. It was good.
After all, I reached the Grote Markt. There is a Cathedral in centre “Cathedral of Our Lady” and it was magnificent. It is very long building and really thought, how it is constructed ? After that I went to river. It is very big river and learnt that ships can passed from this river. The man who give us advices in information guide said that “you should go to sea museum and you can see Antwerp’s panorama. I went to there and I saw all Antwerp the top floor of long building.
Then, I was hungry and Iback to centre. I found a not expensive Italian restaurant and I eat a pizza there. It was Funghi and was good. When I left restaurant, It was 6.30pm and I returned to train station.
